In this article, we delve into mythical subject of Homosexuality and our
behaviour towards it, as written in the Quran. When one reads the web, there
certainly is association between Homo Sexuality and human physiology. There have
been number of studies which have suggested that one neuron (brain cell) found
in Homo Sexual man is slightly lighter and smaller than the neuron found in
Heterosexual man. The studies are not conclusive but it gives indication that
there could be something in it…
Now think about this scenario, if what is said above is true than can we really
blame these Homosexuals who have been pre-programmed to Homosexuality, which
really could be out of their control. We know God is Compassionate and Just,
Will He then punish these people, or Will He forgive them…
Further investigation suggests that the development of these neurons happens
pre-natal and are influenced by drugs (including medicines), chemicals, and
direct injections, in the mother who is carrying a baby. These are all the
influences of the modern world.
Whilst the Homosexuality today is bound by chemicals, at the time of Lot, there
were no influences like these, there would not have been any medicines like we
have today, no chemicals in water etc.
So Quran confirms that Lot's people who were Homosexual by choice, while today
some might be Homosexual by choice and some might not be. The later might be
influenced by their genetic makeup and environment.
We know some of them were married and they chose to be Homosexual by the
following four verses;
[26:165] "Do you have sex with the
males, of all the people?
[26:166] "You forsake the wives that
your Lord has created for you! Indeed, you are transgressing people."
[7:80] Lot said to his people, "You
commit such an abomination; no one in the world has done
it before!
[7:81] "You practice sex with the
men (by choice), instead of the women. Indeed, you are a transgressing people."
I would like to explain why the words are in red in the verse (7:80)… This is
not a coincidence that this verse is saying "done it
before" the word "before" indicates "time" element in this verse.. So the
question is why would the "time" element be important in this verse, for one
reason it might be important because of the total ban on Homosexuality at the
time of Lot, might not stay the same as the "time" moves on as in today, which
has been illustrated in this article… Total ban on Homosexuality was ensued at
Lot’s time, for two reasons, one there is no indication of chemicals effecting
people at that time, two as it says in (7:81) above the act of Homosexuality was
driven by choice. These two aspects make this act as a human act, rather than a
divine intervention, therefore Homosexuality was totally banned at the time of
Lot.
Now based on information gathered in the verses above (26:165-166) we understand
that these verses are talking about bisexuality of married men; but hang on the
whole village was destroyed and its people, except the few righteous. How could
that be, how do we know if all those men and women who were not married were
also having homosexual relations by choice? Yes we do know this fact which is
written in Genesis (18:32) which is that, if there were 10 righteous people in
the town than God would not have destroyed the town for their sake! we can
assume there could been at most nine righteous people in the town when the town
was destroyed. Indeed it seems that most
of the adult population were homosexuals by choice.
(11:77) When our messengers went to Lot he was grieved on their account
and felt powerless. He said "This is a difficult day."
This verse confirms bisexualism is forbidden. When you read this verse closely
it suggests that Lot’s wife was a bisexual. Specifically where it says “she is
condemned along with those who are condemned” indeed the others were condemned
for bisexualism which implies she was too.
Also a mystery
has been solved here, for long time it has been understood that Lot’s wife was
turned into salt when she looked back. Now it has been confirmed that she “looked
back” in regret and nothing more. The words for “in regret” in Arabic are fi
'asuffiha and their respective geometric values are 90 & 147; when these
geometric values are concatenated with the unique verses 77 and 81 where the
“Messengers” are addressing Lot, a complete multiple of 19 is produced,
confirming this fact; 77 81 147 90 =
40953410 x 19;
the temporal connection suggest that it was a historic event, which it obviously
was. **Al-Muzzammil
Indeed Lesbianism is also forbidden if done through choice, it is
clear from (11:81) "looked back" in regret, one can only regret when one has
made bad choice...
Marriage:
Homosexuality is allowed
by God, so what happens to a status of marriage in gay people? We know that
Quran is fully, detailed, therefore the answer is in the Quran.
Indeed please see the following;
(2:221) Do not marry
idolatresses unless they believe; a believing woman is better than an idolatress
even if you like her. Nor shall you give
(your daughters) in marriage to idolatrous men unless they believe.
A believing man is better than an idolater even if you like him. These invite to
Hell while GOD invites to Paradise and forgiveness as He wills. He clarifies His
revelations for the people that they may take heed.
*Missing words “your
daughters” or Banatihi Bak their respective gv’s are 458 & 22. 2 + 221 + 458 +
22 = 703 = 37 x 19. The position is 7 “Disbelievers”, indeed you must not give
your daughters in marriage to the disbelievers. **Al-Muzzammil
Conclusion:
In conclusion we can say that Homosexuality today could be associated with
physiological changes in the body induced by environment we live in or it could
also be by the choice made by the individual as in Bisexual behaviour. This
article proved that the Homosexuality at the time of Lot was by choice therefore
it was totally forbidden, whilst today some Homosexuality is by choice and other
induced by environment we live in, therefore is not totally forbidden. The
induced Homosexuality might be forgiven based on the facts that person has no
control over it, whilst Homosexuality by choice is unforgivable.
Muslims are required to tolerate all Homosexuality and are required to
behave with them as normally as one can. This fact comes apparent from the
example from Lot, he never physically harmed his people, he left it to God to
take care of them, after reminding them of what they were doing was wrong.
Muslims today cannot even warn them because they don't know what the cause of
Homosexuality for that person is.
