Introduction
Islam & Other Faiths
are set of 19 articles illustrating the similarities and dissimilarities between
all the major religions of the world as regards to Islam.
There is also included an article about Atheism and how Islam answer
their objections regarding world religions thus, the total number of articles
sum up to 20.
Very few people know
that Islam is the first religion of the world.
The first recipient of Islam was Adam who was sent as a prophet.
In those days belief in God was sufficient to be a believer; later
Abraham gave the name Islam to this religion and brought the rights of Islam as
practiced today by Muslims with the leave of God.
Islam captures all flavours of belief from Adam to Muhammad and onwards.
Since Adam’s religion was belief in God the minimum requirements of
salvation are also believing in God and the Last Day and leading a righteous
life, however for more reverent practices of Islam are there, the intention of
belief, the five daily prayers called Salat, obligatory charity called Zakat,
Fasting in the month of Ramadan, and once in a life time pilgrimage to Mecca in
Saudi Arabia.
The reason for these,
articles are manifold which include to educate the people, to introduce Islam to
one of those who belong to these 19 major religions of the world from within
their own environment .e.g. a Buddhist, might read Buddhist article and find out
what is common in Islam and Buddhism and relate to Islam in that way, for the
ones who are Muslim’s it is an opportunity to look at other religions and learn
Islamic point of view as regards to other religions and to find out Islam being
the oldest religion in the World, how might have other religions started based
on Islam, or these articles might help someone who is looking for truth and
finding God but is unsure which religion to follow, for him to look at all
religions and compare them on one site and then make up mind what to follow with
least effort which is really invaluable.

Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the
