Further irrefutable proof that Zakat is not 2.5% or any other figure:

Most Muslims today pay 2.5% Zakat on what they earn. However, from the context of the verses below and the mathematical miracle of 19 we find out that this is entirely untrue.

(3:92) clearly states that God is aware of what each one of us gives for charity. Further (2:271-273) is talking about the believers who do not declare their charity get more reward. Declaring charities could also mean the amount one gives.

When we put (2:271-273) and (3:92) together this number is complete multiple of 19. Thus (2:271) in particular clarifies (3:92). The clarification is that it is more rewarding to give charity anonymously.

(17:26-30) and in particular (17:26) clearly states that Zakat (due alms) should be given based on how much or how little one can afford.  For a poor man 2.5% Zakat may be too much and for rich man 2.5% Zakat could be too little. Therefore here it is not a fixed amount of Zakat which is described but what one can afford.

Since we have clarified (3:92) above in correlation with (2:271-273) and the mathematical code. We know that (3:92) is talking about charity being given anonymously this also includes not declaring the amount one gives.

(17:26-30) is where the Zakat amount is mentioned which is not in quantity but within ones discretion. When we add the verses (17:26-30) we get 26 + 27 + 28 + 29 + 30 = 140. Now if we use this within the following code we get complete multiple of 19. (3:92) and (17:26-30) are related to each other in a sense that (3:92) is telling us that only God and the person who gives the Zakat is aware of what Zakat is given. While (17:26-30) confirms that this charity is in fact Zakat.

Now if the opposite was true that is if all Muslims give Zakat of 2.5%based on their income, the whole community will know how much Zakat one has paid, it does not remain anonymous. Whereas (3:92) is telling us that Zakat should only be known by God and ‘you’ the person who has given the Zakat. This concludes the fact that Zakat has no fixed amount, it depends on the discretion of the believer and how much he, she can afford.

17             26    You shall give the due alms to the relatives the needy the poor and the travelling alien but do not be excessive extravagant.                                                                                                                                  

17             27    The extravagant are brethren of the devils and the devil is unappreciative of his Lord.

17             28    Even if you have to turn away from them as you pursue the mercy of your Lord you shall treat them in the nicest manner.                                                                                                                                                  

17             29    You shall not keep your hand stingily tied to your neck nor shall you foolishly open it up lest you end up blamed and sorry.                                                                                                                                            

17             30    For your Lord increases the provision for anyone He chooses and reduces it. He is fully Cognizant of His creatures Seer.

 

2                271  If you declare your charities they are still good. But if you keep them anonymous and give them to the poor it is better for you and remits more of your sins. GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.                       

2                272  You are not responsible for guiding anyone. GOD is the only one who guides whoever He wills. Whatever of good you give is for your own good and you should only do so seeking GOD. Whatever good you give will be repaid to you without the least injustice.                                                                                                                           

2                273  As for the poor who face hardship in the cause of GOD, and cannot leave the land; The unaware may think that they are rich due to their dignity. But you can recognize them by certain signs; they never beg from the people persistently. Whatever you spend out of goodness GOD is fully aware thereof.                               

 

3                 92        You cannot attain righteousness until you give to charity from the possessions you love. Whatever you give to charity GOD is fully aware thereof.
