Jesus Credentials:

God willing today we will discuss Jesus’s credentials to be son of God. Did he really have God like qualities and did he really wanted to be like God, by being son of God. Or the concept of Jesus being son of God is just a great myth!!!

To find Jesus credentials we will refer to Old Testament, New Testament and the Final Testament the Quran. God willing we will also look at the influence of Church on creating this figure of human God.

Steps involved in article:

Logic and sensibility against presumptions and truth;

Logic

Logic <Introducing Logic by Dan Cryan, Sharron Shatil and Bill Mayblin>

·         All men are mortal

·         Socrates is a man

·         Socrates is mortal

Valid

·         All carnivorous eat meat

·         Some birds are not carnivores

·         Some birds don’t eat meat

Valid

·         I support Arsenal

·         Bergkamp plays for Arsenal

·         Arsenal will win the cup

Not valid

Based on the simple logic examples above we apply the same logic to the focus of Christian religion which is definition of God!

·         According to Christian belief there is only one God

·         God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit

·         Christians have false belief

Valid

Sensibility

The role sensibility in this article is that the reader can separate the intense complex emotion which underlies in today’s Christian belief that Jesus laid his life for the salvation of human kind with the sober thought that millions of humans have died since than in the good causes in the name of human kind despite being son of God. Does it still mean Jesus is the son of God…

Presumptions

The presumptions are discussed under the topics of “New Testament reference to Jesus” and “Jesus in Old Testament”.

Truth

Truth is considered in “Jesus as described in the Final Testament the Quran”.

New Testament reference to Jesus

New Testament not revealed to Jesus

We know that most of the Old Testament has been revealed to prophets who wrote it down. This makes the Old Testament mostly authentic and true to the Word of God.

However, we know that the New Testament has been written by apostles and not by Jesus. While Jesus was alive he did not wrote down the revelations.

Prophets are anointed by God to whom God reveals new and old information. They are special human beings who have special credentials to obtain new and old information directly from God.

Humans like us can get inspired but our inspiration could be erroneous!!!

Since New Testament has been written by humans like us it has changed the context from what was revealed to Jesus. Because of this reason New Testament cannot be taken as Gospel!!! However, we know that God is in full control of everything therefore, we should be able to pick discrepancies made in the New Testament and we do find the oddities in the verses from the New Testament which show the errors which have been introduced in it. Therefore I have taken few examples of verses from the New Testament and am trying to put my point across which is that Jesus was/is not son of God…

Luke (3:38)

Luke (3:21-38) describes genealogy of Jesus, based on false assumption that Joseph was his father. However, we know that Jesus was a virgin birth. Since Jesus did not have a father he had no genealogy.  This fabricated genealogy of Jesus traces back to Adam and calls Jesus Luke (3:38) the son of Adam as son of God. Since the whole bases of this genealogy is made up, the assumption that Jesus was son of God is deceitful.

 Luke (3:38) the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Some Christians interpret Luke (3:38) as Adam being the son of God, however, it is quite clear that it is not Adam who is proclaimed to be son of God but his son, pointing towards Jesus. However, since Luke (3:21-38) Jesus’s genealogy is based on false assumption which is that Joseph was his father, it concludes that Jesus was not the son of God!!!

John (1:49) Jesus also called son God

John (1:45) Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

John (1:49) Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”

The above two verses from John 1 present double whammy against Christian belief!!! Christians quote John (1:49) to proclaim that Jesus was son of God.

However John (1:45) denotes Jesus as son of Joseph, this is pure fiction, we know Jesus was born of Virgin Mary he had no father, it was the Word of God <Quran [3:59]  The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was>  which manifested him into existence. This is pure fabrication by John to idolise Jesus. If this revelation was from God than it would present the truth, God does not need to fabricate or lie!!!!

Second let’s assume that Jesus was son of Joseph as John (1:45) suggest, how can he also be son of God as well. How many fathers do you see proclaiming today that their son is son of God?

Collusion (1:15)

Collusion (1:15); The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Once again this verse Collusion (1:15) brings double whammy against the beliefs of the Christian religion. The Christians interpret this verse to be addressing Jesus the firstborn over all creation. However, two obvious discrepancies immediately face the reader.

First “Son” in this verse could be any son in the world! Only the ones who want to idolise Jesus and make him greater than who he was interpret this word “Son” in Collusion (1:15) to be Jesus. God sends down clear revelations this is not clear therefore it is not the Word of God < Quran [40:66]  Say, "I have been enjoined from worshiping the idols you worship beside GOD, when the clear revelations came to me from my Lord. I was commanded to submit to the Lord of the universe.">.

Second Collusion (1:15) has a serious semantic error which God’s Word will not have. It says “The Son is the image of the invisible God”. However, when one scrutinise this phrase, it is easy to see the error, it says “image of the invisible God”, an invisible entity has no image, and therefore this phrase is erroneous to say the least.

On two accounts Collusion (1:15) has been ambiguous, however if it were the Word of God than this matter would have been clear as a whistle!!!

John (6:38); Jesus I come down from Heaven

John ((6:38) For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

For once I agree with verse, however, for slightly different reasons than what has been interpreted by Christian Church.

Quran tells us that all of us on earth today were in heaven once

 Quran [38:69]; "I had no knowledge previously, about the feud in the High Society (Society in Heaven).   (38:69) The feud in the High Society was triggered by Satan's challenge to God's absolute authority. This is definitely the most important event in the history of the human race. We failed to make a firm stand regarding God's absolute authority. This life represents the third and final chance to redeem ourselves)

Indeed on that account all of us come from heaven, including all the prophets and messengers including Jesus.

Also Quran tells us that all prophets and messengers are here representing the Will of God. Thus looking at John (6:38) in this context this verse is the Word of God. Similar verse from the Quran is as follows;

 [3:84]  Say, "We believe in GOD, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters."

Jesus in Old Testament

According to Christian doctrine trinity is established after the New Testament was written. However, there is hint of trinity in Old Testament where God is addressed as “Us”, for example Genesis (1:26);

God Says "Let Us"

Genesis (1:26)  Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

There is a simple explanation for the usage of “Us” in Genesis (1:26). The reason why God uses “Us” is that Angels, dust, human organs, the science behind human biology and much more are all animate/non-animate creatures of God. Our God is a “Just” God and He appreciates and rewards all creatures who took part in the making of mankind. Therefore the word “Us” is used in Genesis (1:26) in the sense that all these entities are appreciated for their work by God .

The mention of animate and non-animate creatures is mentioned in the Quran as follows;

Quran [33:72]  We have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.

There is a subtle difference between “make” as mentioned in Genesis (1:26) and Creator as mentioned in Isaiah (40:28). Creation happens from nothing only God can do that while Making is done when the ingredients are there and a product can be manufactured from it;

Isaiah (40:28)  Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
    and his understanding no one can fathom.

Indeed Genesis (1:26) is related to “make” rather than create, where Angels helped make mankind, that might include help make the universe, the earth, the plants, the animals and even conception and reproduction of humans. That is why the word “Us” is used in Genesis (1:26). Not because God is one of the trinity.

So the role of Church:

It is plain to see what has happened; we have received clear revelations in the form of Old Testament in the first place, where it proclaims One God.  The Church then intervened and misinterpreted the revelations and made One God into three.

Jesus as described in the Final Testament the Quran:

      Jesus was conception of Word of God

[3:45]  The angels said, "O Mary, GOD gives you good news: a Word from Him whose name is `The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary. He will be prominent in this life and in the Hereafter, and one of those closest to Me.'

     Jesus like any other prophets

[3:84]  Say, "We believe in GOD, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters."

     Jesus was not crucified

[4:157]  And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him - they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.*

     Trinity: A False Doctrine

[4:171]  O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity." You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.

     On The Day Of Resurrection – Jesus never said to idolise him and his mother

[5:116]  GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary,* did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?' " He will say, "Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. Had I said it, You already would have known it. You know my thoughts, and I do not know Your thoughts. You know all the secrets.[5:117]  "I told them only what You commanded me to say, that: `You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord.' I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When You terminated my life on earth, You became the Watcher over them. You witness all things.[5:118]  "If You punish them, they are Your constituents. If You forgive them, You are the Almighty, Most Wise."[5:119]  GOD will proclaim, "This is a day when the truthful will be saved by their truthfulness." They have deserved gardens with flowing streams. They abide therein forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is the greatest triumph. [5:120]  To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything in them, and He is Omnipotent.

     Proclaiming Jesus as son of God a great blasphemy

[9:30]  The Jews said, "Ezra is the son of GOD," while the Christians said, "Jesus is the son of GOD!" These are blasphemies uttered by their mouths. They thus match the blasphemies of those who have disbelieved in the past. GOD condemns them. They have surely deviated.

Conclusion

From pure logic where three gods have been made into one and logic dictates it to be incorrect, to presumptions where the New Testament and Old Testament have been proven to show that there is great error in assuming trinity and Jesus as son of God. The scripture came first and the clergy came later, and we have proven in this article that clergy had a hand in creating trinity and Jesus son of God, by interpreting the verses from the scripture incorrectly. Finally we quote from the Quran the Final Word of God on earth and find out that Jesus and Mary never wanted to be idolised and that trinity is false. Jesus was another prophet like any other prophet who should be respected as any other prophet and not as son of God.
